Homes for Sale in Midtown, Atlanta

Atlanta's arts and culture core — Piedmont Park, the High Museum, and the city's most walkable residential district, all along Peachtree Street.

What Midtown is actually like

Midtown is Atlanta's most walkable urban neighborhood, built around Piedmont Park and a dense corridor of high-rise condos, historic apartment buildings, and mid-rise developments. It's known as the city's “Heart of the Arts” — home to the Fox Theatre, the High Museum of Art, the Alliance Theatre, and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, all within walking distance of each other. Georgia Tech's campus — home to the ACC's Yellow Jackets, with Bobby Dodd Stadium for football and McCamish Pavilion for basketball — sits at Midtown's western edge, and the neighborhood stretches from Atlantic Station's shopping district to the industrial-turned-creative spaces of West Midtown.

The Atlanta Beltline's Eastside Trail runs through Midtown as well, connecting it on foot or by bike to more than 40 other neighborhoods — a genuine differentiator for buyers who want car-optional living. Piedmont Park itself hosts Midtown's biggest annual draws — the Atlanta Jazz Festival over Memorial Day weekend and the Shaky Knees Music Festival each September — and serves as the finish line for the Peachtree Road Race every Fourth of July. Midtown is also a genuine corporate employment hub in its own right, home to Norfolk Southern's headquarters tower, NCR Voyix and NCR Atleos (both headquartered in the same building following NCR's 2023 split), and Equifax's global headquarters — meaning plenty of downtown-adjacent jobs are actually a walk, not a commute, from a Midtown address.
