Homes for Sale in East Atlanta Village, Atlanta

Intown Atlanta's independent, music-driven neighborhood — bungalow housing stock at a relatively more accessible price point than closer-in neighborhoods.

What East Atlanta Village is actually like

East Atlanta Village (EAV) has built its identity around local ownership — the commercial strips along Flat Shoals and Glenwood avenues are dominated by independent restaurants, bars, bookshops, and music venues rather than chains, including The Earl, a well-known live-music venue. It's a walkable, historically more affordable pocket of bungalow housing than neighborhoods like Virginia-Highland or Inman Park, though that gap has been narrowing as the neighborhood's popularity has grown.

The neighborhood hosts its own recurring events, including the East Atlanta Strut festival and a Thursday farmers market (April–December), and sits about three miles east of downtown along Memorial Drive, just south of Little Five Points. The Beltline's paved Southeast Trail, about a mile away near Glenwood Park, gives EAV residents a car-free route into several other Beltline neighborhoods.
